Giving New Life to Every Organ and Every Patient

Targa Biomedical is advancing organ rescue, transplantation, and regenerative medicine through cellular protection technologies

About Targa

Where cellular science
meets clinical need

Targa Biomedical is a Montréal-based biotechnology company pioneering ex vivo organ-conditioning and cell-preservation technologies to unlock the quality and viability of donor organs and living cell products. Founded in 2018 by Dr. Shant Der Sarkissian and Dr. Nicolas Noiseux, Targa is advancing TBM-005 toward first-in-human clinical evaluation in organ transplantation. Targa is expanding its platform into regenerative medicine, applying cellular-protection principles to advanced cryopreservation and ambient-temperature cell-storage solutions for cell therapy and biomanufacturing.

Our mission

Organ quality, not donor supply, limits transplantation.
Targa was built to close that gap.
